TARZAN'S
TERMS &
CONDITIONS
Tarzan Tree Experts LLC
Effective Date: September 24, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tarzan Tree Experts LLC website and, where applicable, your interactions with Tarzan Tree Experts LLC (“Tarzan Tree Experts,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By using our website, submitting a request for service, requesting an estimate, scheduling work, or communicating with Tarzan Tree Experts, you agree to these Terms.
Specific estimates, proposals, work orders, invoices, or service agreements may contain additional terms. If there is a conflict between these website Terms and a signed service agreement or accepted proposal, the terms of the specific service agreement or proposal will control.
1. Our Services
Tarzan Tree Experts LLC provides professional tree-care and related property services, which may include:
-
Tree removal
-
Tree trimming and pruning
-
Tree maintenance
-
Emergency tree services
-
Storm-damage cleanup
-
Hazardous tree assessment and removal
-
Stump grinding
-
Tree and property cleanup
-
Other arboricultural or related services agreed upon with the customer
The exact scope of work for a particular project will be described in the customer's estimate, proposal, work order, or invoice.
Submitting a request through our website does not guarantee that Tarzan Tree Experts will accept or perform the requested work.
2. Estimates and Proposals
Unless otherwise stated, estimates are based on the conditions reasonably visible and known at the time the estimate is prepared.
Estimates may change if previously unknown conditions are discovered, including:
-
Hidden decay or structural damage
-
Underground obstacles
-
Rocks, concrete, fencing, irrigation systems, or buried materials
-
Difficult or restricted property access
-
Utility conflicts
-
Changes requested by the customer
-
Additional trees, limbs, debris, or work not included in the original scope
-
Conditions that create additional safety concerns
Any additional work outside the original scope may require customer approval and may result in additional charges.
Estimates are valid for the period stated on the estimate or proposal. If no expiration date is stated, Tarzan Tree Experts reserves the right to revise pricing before work is scheduled.
3. Scheduling
Work dates and arrival times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Tree work is affected by weather, emergency calls, equipment availability, crew safety, site conditions, utility conflicts, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Tarzan Tree Experts may delay or reschedule work when necessary for safety, weather, equipment, staffing, emergencies, or other operational reasons.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant scheduling changes.
4. Customer Property Access
The customer is responsible for providing Tarzan Tree Experts and its employees, contractors, vehicles, and equipment with reasonable access to all areas necessary to perform the agreed-upon work.
The customer should remove or identify items that could interfere with tree operations, including:
-
Vehicles
-
Patio furniture
-
Decorations
-
Children's toys
-
Pet equipment
-
Outdoor lighting
-
Fragile landscaping items
-
Sprinklers
-
Invisible fencing
-
Irrigation components
-
Low-voltage wiring
-
Other movable property
Tarzan Tree Experts is not responsible for damage to items that were not reasonably visible, disclosed, marked, or removed before work begins, except to the extent required by applicable law.
5. Property Lines and Ownership
The customer represents that they own the trees and property on which the requested work will be performed or that they have obtained authorization from the property owner.
The customer is responsible for identifying property boundaries when tree ownership or property lines may be uncertain.
Tarzan Tree Experts is not responsible for disputes between neighbors or property owners regarding tree ownership, property boundaries, or authorization to perform work.
If ownership or authorization is disputed, we may suspend work until the matter is resolved.
6. Underground Utilities, Irrigation and Hidden Conditions
Customers must inform Tarzan Tree Experts of known:
-
Irrigation systems
-
Sprinkler lines
-
Private electrical lines
-
Invisible dog fencing
-
Drainage systems
-
Septic systems
-
Landscape lighting
-
Private utility lines
-
Underground structures
-
Other concealed property features
Public utility locating services may not identify privately installed lines or systems.
Because stump grinding and heavy equipment may disturb areas below the surface, Tarzan Tree Experts cannot guarantee against damage to underground objects that were not properly identified or disclosed before work began.
7. Stump Grinding
Unless specifically stated otherwise in the proposal, stump grinding typically removes the visible stump and grinds it to an agreed or commercially reasonable depth.
Stump grinding does not necessarily remove:
-
The entire root system
-
All underground roots
-
Every wood chip
-
Underground obstructions
-
Rocks or concrete surrounding the stump
Roots may remain underground and naturally decay over time.
The customer should disclose underground utilities, irrigation, fencing, wiring, or other hidden systems before stump grinding begins.
Backfilling, hauling grindings away, topsoil replacement, grading, or landscape restoration are included only when specifically stated in the agreed scope of work.
8. Lawn and Landscape Conditions
Professional tree work often requires the use of trucks, trailers, chippers, lifts, loaders, cranes, stump grinders, or other heavy equipment.
Even when reasonable precautions are taken, equipment may temporarily compress or disturb lawns, soil, landscaping, driveways, or surrounding areas.
Tarzan Tree Experts will use reasonable care while performing work. However, ordinary and unavoidable effects associated with properly performed tree work are not considered property damage.
Special protection or restoration requested by the customer should be discussed before work begins and may involve additional charges.
9. Tree and Plant Health
Tree care involves living organisms whose future health can be affected by weather, insects, disease, soil conditions, irrigation, construction, previous damage, and many other factors outside our control.
Unless a specific written warranty is provided, Tarzan Tree Experts does not guarantee that a tree, shrub, plant, or landscape element will survive, recover, remain disease-free, or respond to treatment in a particular manner.
Recommendations are based on conditions reasonably observable at the time services are provided.
10. Tree Risk
Trees and tree limbs can fail unpredictably.
Pruning, cabling, removal of deadwood, or other tree-care services can reduce certain risks but cannot eliminate all risk associated with trees.
Completion of tree work does not constitute a guarantee that remaining trees or limbs will never fail.
Customers remain responsible for monitoring their property and seeking additional evaluation when tree conditions change.
11. Emergency and Hazardous Conditions
Tarzan Tree Experts may determine that work should be stopped, modified, postponed, or performed differently if conditions create an unreasonable safety risk.
These conditions may include:
-
High winds
-
Lightning
-
Severe storms
-
Ice or snow
-
Unstable trees
-
Electrical hazards
-
Structural hazards
-
Unsafe access
-
Equipment limitations
-
Dangerous site conditions
Safety decisions made by our crew take priority over scheduling or completion expectations.
12. Storm and Emergency Service
Emergency tree work may require different scheduling, staffing, equipment, or pricing than ordinary scheduled services.
Emergency pricing may apply for services performed after hours, during storms, on holidays, or when immediate mobilization is required.
Pricing will be communicated when reasonably possible before work begins.
In an immediate emergency involving life safety, power lines, or dangerous electrical conditions, customers should contact the appropriate emergency services or utility provider.
13. Power Lines and Utilities
Tree work near electrical lines can be extremely hazardous.
Tarzan Tree Experts may require coordination with the applicable utility provider before work can safely begin.
We reserve the right to decline, delay, or modify work when electrical or utility hazards are present.
Customers should never approach fallen or damaged electrical lines.
14. Debris and Cleanup
Cleanup will be performed according to the customer's accepted estimate or proposal.
Unless otherwise specified, cleanup may include removal of tree limbs, logs, and debris generated by our work.
Certain materials may remain if specifically requested by the customer, including:
-
Firewood
-
Logs
-
Mulch
-
Wood chips
Final appearance may differ from ordinary landscaping work due to the nature of tree removal and heavy-equipment operations.
15. Firewood, Logs and Wood Chips
If a customer requests that logs, firewood, or wood chips remain on the property, the customer assumes responsibility for those materials after the work is completed.
Tarzan Tree Experts does not guarantee the size, dryness, condition, species suitability, or usability of retained wood unless specifically agreed in writing.
16. Customer Responsibilities
Before our crew arrives, customers should:
-
Provide clear access to the work area
-
Move vehicles away from the work zone
-
Keep children and pets safely indoors or away from operations
-
Identify known underground systems
-
Identify fragile property
-
Inform us of access restrictions
-
Inform neighbors when access to adjoining property may be necessary
-
Obtain any required property-owner approvals
-
Notify us of known hazards
For safety reasons, customers and bystanders must remain outside designated work zones while tree operations are underway.
17. Permits and Approvals
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the property owner is responsible for determining whether local permits, HOA approvals, historical district approvals, neighboring-property permissions, or similar authorizations are required.
If Tarzan Tree Experts agrees to obtain a permit or authorization on the customer's behalf, applicable fees may be charged to the customer.
18. Changes to the Scope of Work
Customers may request changes before or during a project.
Changes may affect:
-
Price
-
Equipment requirements
-
Crew size
-
Completion time
-
Scheduling
-
Cleanup
-
Disposal costs
Additional work will generally require approval before it is performed.
Verbal instructions given to the crew may be treated as authorization for additional work when reasonably understood to be a customer-approved change.
19. Payment Terms
Payment is due according to the terms stated on the estimate, proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
Tarzan Tree Experts may require:
-
Progress payments
-
Payment upon completion
-
Another agreed payment arrangement
Customers are responsible for reviewing invoices promptly and notifying us of any disputed charge.
Past-due balances may be subject to lawful collection efforts and any fees specifically disclosed in the customer's agreement or invoice, subject to applicable law.
20. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change.
Customers should provide as much notice as reasonably possible when cancelling or rescheduling work.
Tarzan Tree Experts reserves the right to charge an applicable cancellation or mobilization fee when:
-
A crew has already been dispatched
-
Specialized equipment has been reserved
-
A crane or subcontractor has been scheduled
-
Work is cancelled with insufficient notice
-
The crew cannot access the property because of circumstances within the customer's control
Any applicable cancellation fee should be disclosed in the customer's proposal or service agreement.
21. Completion of Work
Customers are encouraged to review completed work promptly.
If you believe part of the agreed scope was not completed correctly, please notify Tarzan Tree Experts as soon as reasonably possible so we can review the concern.
We want customers to give us the opportunity to address legitimate service concerns before arranging corrective work through another provider.
22. Photographs and Project Documentation
